Migration

Pull factors

Someone moving to an area because they have good areas of that place is good for education.
Or maybe for a new job. Or for a new view. Maybe because its cheaper. Or family in the area.

Push factors

Someone moving away maybe for more space to a bigger area or because there child gave them a
bad name or to go stay with family. Our relationship down or up there go move with them. Or catchment
area for school.

Why is New Zealand good to migrate too?

About Me

Kia ora my name is Capri . I have 8 siblings including my step sisters. Their names are Joseph, Saphire, Kahurangi, Myself, Sonny boy, Naia. My step sisters are Humarie and Rangimarie. My culture is Maori and Pakeha.  I use to go to Kawakawa primary school it was alright their I guess. Now I go to Bay of Islands of Collage. It is awesome here I really like it because their are challenging things here and things to keep me active.I am good at Kapa-haka but I don't choose to sing in front or with people I like singing by myself. I am also good at swimming I enjoy it but it's only a hobby. I enjoy SST and ENG because there are things that are really easy. My challenges are MAT,SCI and PE because they give me really challenging things for me in maths. PE and SCI is hard because I can't stop talking i'm trying to stop. My goals are to get good grades in my classes and many more to come over the year. I’m looking forward too everything easy and hard I really enjoy it here just things I can't control like my talking. But over the year I will get that under control. I have no achievements im not proud of but i'm hoping I can achieve good things this year that I and others can say.

This is day two teaser activity sport and leisure activity. I found this very fun and difficult because I just couldn't find a thing or a object that compares with something else but I did my best. I learnt what similes where and why their good to use and what the differences is with a simile and a metaphor. If I could change anything with this I would add a verb at the end of my similies to make it more interesting.

For my 1st summer learning journey Activity I have went on a site called canva. The task was to make a creative background so I used canva then I put my pepeha on the top of the background. I learnt that I can use canva  fluently. If I could change anything about it I would use a different app because canva didn't have  maori backgrounds for me to use  but besides that I really like this activity its really fun.

WEEKEND

This weekend it was terrific because on Saturday I went with my anuty Suzan she was hosting a dinner up in Kerikeri the theme was Winter. So she calls it a winter ball dinner hosted by pasta T and anuty Suzan. My Sister and I we went to waitress because my Aunt needed the helpers to clean and cook and do separate jobs. Her friends kids came to be waitresses as well. It was a beautiful night how it was set up with lights on the ceiling christmas lights. Their was branches painted white and they were sala-taped together they were put in the middle of the table with blue lights around it. On Sunday we went to church and we had sunday school and after everything was finished we all just went home and went to sleep. Thats my weekend.
