Managing the environment.

Understand how resources can be managed, and how the mismanagement of resources affects students and social sustainability.

Give a brief response to one of the resources in the examples you gave previously, post to the blog about what you could do to.

1) Natural resources

Example Oil, coal, natural gas, metals, stone and sand used to support life and meet people's needs. Anything that isn’t man made.

2) Cultural resources

tangible remains of past human activity. buildings; structures; prehistoric sites; historic or prehistoric objects or collection; rock inscription; earthworks, canals, or landscapes.

If the video doesn't play my bad I used online voice recorder and saved my voice recording and then converted it into a mp4 because it wouldn't upload as a sound but as a video. Keep New Zealand Clean Week.

On Friday the 11th of September 2020 as a school most of the classes went out to the community to clean up New Zealand because that week it was Keep New Zealand Beautiful Week. And as a class our teacher Whaea Annette told our class that she booked us for last period to go pick up rubbish down Whitemans Road and Leonards Street Kawakawa. I think we did a good job cleaning I guess everyone down the street was pleased that we cleaned up the streets. We had three bags of rubbish in the end. It was a good one and cause towards New Zealand. And we all got a badge and a sticker.

6 things that are Kiwanis with there story to say.

  •  Gumboots how they are Kiwanis, Workers would wear long rubber boots when digging to keep the mud and gum from getting onto their legs and skin.

Migration assessment😅

Kia ora so today i am making a blog post about what I learnt about migration in social studies I hope you enjoy my essay and learn a little about migration.

For the past term in social studies I have been learning a lot about migration. I learnt about the Moriori and  European settlers. Them arriving to New Zealand has made a really big difference to New Zealand a difference that makes us how we are today. We have learnt what they have encountered or did on there Navigation journey. We have learnt as a class the struggle of Moriori. Back then the food and supplies were very rare for them, But with practise and hard work they got the hang of doing everything to provide those things. Over the years they were on Aotearoa there were settlers that came with pest animals that kill native animals then the population of native animals were becoming smaller and smaller till there were only just a few. Then there was war that happened very often the people in the area got so use to it that it became a regular thing. Then the treaty came 1940 got signed for justice and peace between Maori and British. They signed because they wanted there children to have better days. Migration is all about new beginnings for people moving. We learnt so much history and the truth about New Zealand. So much im even talking to my dad about it. The history has its message and the future is still creating its one. I learnt a lot about migration
