- Gumboots how they are Kiwanis, Workers would wear long rubber boots when digging to keep the mud and gum from getting onto their legs and skin.

Migration assessment😅
Kia ora so today i am making a blog post about what I learnt about migration in social studies I hope you enjoy my essay and learn a little about migration.
For the past term in social studies I have been learning a lot about migration. I learnt about the Moriori and European settlers. Them arriving to New Zealand has made a really big difference to New Zealand a difference that makes us how we are today. We have learnt what they have encountered or did on there Navigation journey. We have learnt as a class the struggle of Moriori. Back then the food and supplies were very rare for them, But with practise and hard work they got the hang of doing everything to provide those things. Over the years they were on Aotearoa there were settlers that came with pest animals that kill native animals then the population of native animals were becoming smaller and smaller till there were only just a few. Then there was war that happened very often the people in the area got so use to it that it became a regular thing. Then the treaty came 1940 got signed for justice and peace between Maori and British. They signed because they wanted there children to have better days. Migration is all about new beginnings for people moving. We learnt so much history and the truth about New Zealand. So much im even talking to my dad about it. The history has its message and the future is still creating its one. I learnt a lot about migration

Culture
Kia ora today in social studies we had to pick a culture and the teacher gave us variety of questions to answer. I hope you enjoy what I have to say about America.
Question one: what culture have you chosen and why?
I have picked American because the population that has been judged or blamed for wrongs they never committed. Racism is becoming more of a damage and im here to encourage and support the wrongs they are doing because of a person or someones colour skin.
Question two: What country do they come from: America
Question three: what is tradition food in America: Hamburger and cheese burger.
Question four: How do they say hello in American: Hi
I hope you have learnt a lot and know that you dont judge people from the colour of there skin it is what they present to you that counts.

Migration
Pull factors
Someone moving to an area because they have good areas of that place is good for education.
Or maybe for a new job. Or for a new view. Maybe because its cheaper. Or family in the area.
Push factors
Someone moving away maybe for more space to a bigger area or because there child gave them a
bad name or to go stay with family. Our relationship down or up there go move with them. Or catchment
area for school.
